What kind of life do you really want to live? What kind of society do you want to live in? These are the questions facing all of us, particularly at this time of unexpected change.

You are invited to start the New Year with us at Adhisthana, exploring what it could mean to create a truly vital spiritual community. Saddhaloka encountered this as a possibility in 1979 when attending the lectures Bhante gave based on the Vimalakirti Nirdesa. This series opened up a world of inspiration, profound mystery, lightness, laughter, and endless possibility. It is here that Bhante looked at what it could mean to create spiritual community, a Buddha Field or a Buddha Land. Taking up Bhante’s invitation we will step into this world over the weekend.
