Entering the Mandala of Awakening

This retreat will be an opportunity to explore spiritual practice on the basis of the four talks on Sadhana given by Prakasha at the 2019 Area Order Convention entitled ‘A Mandala of Awakening’. There will be an emphasis on a holistic approach to the ‘System of Spiritual Practice’ that allows everyone to engage in a way that works for them.

The five principles of mindfulness, positive emotion, investigation, imagination and awareness are the core of the System. There needs to be an embodied integration of our heights and depths in a perspective that is both imaginative and mythic. There will be some fresh Dharma talks, with plenty of space for personal practice. This summer solstice retreat will mainly be held in a context of silence with devotional puja and ritual.

This event will be a Quiet Period at Adhisthana with no other events running alongside it so as to protect the atmosphere of the retreat.

The retreat will start with dinner at 18:00 and you are welcome to arrive on site after 16:00, it will end at 10:30 on the last day.

For long events (4 nights or more) you can pay either the £78 non-refundable deposit or the full amount.
