Adhisthana Retreats

Event Title: A Community of Practitioners

Led by Kamalashila

Following government guidelines, this retreat has been cancelled due to the coronavirus.

A meditation retreat for Order members. With just a little teaching, tailored to the needs of whoever comes, we will form a community focused on practice. There will be some discussion for the first few days and then probably we’ll be ready for a longer period of silent practice.  Who knows what will come up? According to Milarepa, if it has reference points, it is not the view; if there's dullness and agitation, it is not meditation. If there's adopting and rejecting, it is not (right) conduct; if there are concepts, it is not yoga. If there is dawning and waning, it is not wisdom; if there is birth and death, it's not Buddhahood.  Well, some of this could be very relevant!

The retreat will start with dinner at 18:00 and you are welcome to arrive on site after 16:00, it will end at 10:30 on the last day.

For long events (4 nights or more) you can pay either the £78 non-refundable deposit or the full amount.
