Milarepa: Open Weekend

Led by Paramartha + Saddhanandi

The Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa have been described as ‘an inexhaustible fountainhead of inspiration’ and ‘an immense treasury of spiritual teachings’. Paramārtha will share his own fascination with the life of Milarepa and his uncompromising commitment to the highest ideals of the spiritual path. During the retreat we will also explore teachings from the songs of Tibet’s Great Yogi that reveal the relevance Milarepa’s example for us as Buddhist practitioners living in the 21st century.

Paramartha and Bhante were reading this text around the time of Bhante's death.
