A Living Dharma: Windhorse Trading Seminar

Led by Saddhanandi + Bodhiketu

Part of the Study Convention: A Living Dharma.

In December 1993, when all the Windhorse gift shops were closed after Christmas, the Windhorse Chapter met with Bhante to discuss a variety of topics all concerned with understanding more fully how to practice the dharma within an intensive working life.

The seminar starts with an opening question: Right Livelihood, a complete path or preparation? A leading question that is repeated throughout the following days: can work support spiritual attainment, or is it simply a preparatory stage before the necessary withdrawal that needs to come later.

As the discussion unfolds Bhante begins to lay out the conditions necessary for insight…

Reception is from 4pm on the day of arrival, with the retreat beginning with supper at 6pm.

The retreat will finish in the morning after the clear-up. If traveling on public transport, please book a train after 11am.
