Meditation Teachers' Circles at Adhisthana

Meditation teaching is a responsibility, and these regular Circles are a way teachers can meet and exchange with like minded people. It’s also a way to share and explore our personal practice. “Leaves me feeling a lot more grounded around what I’m doing,” said Lalitaraja on a recent event.

Many established teachers are supporting this regular gathering whenever they can, for example Vessantara, Vidyamala, Tejananda, Vajradevi, and members of the Vajraloka team. It’s very likely you’ll meet some of them here. The setting is informal and conversational; everyone naturally has a lot in common, so there is plenty to talk about. There are also demonstrations by teachers of material they have found useful, and other kinds of presentation.

Overall, we want to bring senior teachers with their deep experience and longstanding personal connections together with currently practising teachers. It is not a training event but a gathering - there's no agenda or long term goals, other than mutual support, bringing to light creative ideas and perspectives. We expect the events to evolve as they go. Meetings are 2-3 times a year and we expect that over time connections will emerge to everyone’s benefit.

The retreat will start with dinner at 18:00 and you are welcome to arrive on site after 16:00, it will end at 14:30 on the last day.
