Ethics for Order Members: Mind Matters

As the Dhammapada says, “Experiences are preceded by mind, led by mind and produced by mind.” Therefore it is imperative that we take a closer look at our minds. Awareness, according to Bhante “ is revolutionary.” What is the nature of this revolution, how does it happen, what are the wider implications, and is it something we really want?
Come and join us for a week of discussion, talks, and practical exercises in an in-depth exploration of mind matters.

This is the third in a series of retreats on the Ten Precepts. It is a stand alone retreat and you don’t need to have been on the previous two. On this retreat, we are going to explore the mind precepts using material from Living Ethically, The Ten Pillars, and Know Your Mind.

You can check in from 4pm on the day of arrival, with the retreat beginning with supper at 6pm.

The retreat will finish in the morning after the clear-up. If traveling on public transport, please book a train after 11am.
