The new meaning of Vimalakirti’s Thunderous Silence

A newly rediscovered Sanskrit version of the Vimalakirti Nirdesa has been translated into English. The new translation reveals subtle differences to the meaning of parts of the teaching, including Vimalakirti’s ‘thunderous silence’! There are several retreats on Vimalakirti happening at Adhisthana this year, one with Dhivan, and one with Vessantrara.
