Beyond the binary: A sangha retreat for gender diverse people
Led by A Gender Diverse Team
The retreat will be led by a gender diverse team of Order Members, Kamalanandi, Jnanamitra, Nagakusala, Shraddhasiddhi and Singhashri.
We extend a warm welcome to anyone who identifies as gender diverse, trans, intersex, non-binary, genderqueer, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, questioning etc. and who is practising within a Triratna context.
Whether you are a relative newcomer or have been practising for years, this sangha retreat will be relevant to you. You will need to know both introductory meditation practices that we learn in Triratna. We will be exploring the intersection between our lived experience of gender identity and practising the dharma, and what they have to do with one another. We will explore, how practising the dharma leads us to create lives that have more meaning, and more connectedness with ourselves and others.
Join us for a long weekend of meditation, talks, study, ritual and small group activities, and plenty of informal time to catch up with one another.
The retreat will start with supper at 6pm on the first evening and finish after the clear up on the last afternoon. If you are using public transport please book to leave after 2.30pm
