We are thrilled to announce that Adhisthana will soon be offering two beautiful new solitary retreat cabins.
The cabins are currently being constructed to our specifications and are set to arrive at the end of April. If all goes well, they should be ready for visitors by the end of June, assuming all the setting up of systems and testing proceeds smoothly.
Bringing these retreat cabins to life has been quite a journey! Working out how to provide fully serviced huts at a distance from our main buildings has been a challenge, but with the help of experts like Abhayanara, Satyajit, and Martin Randle of Shakespeare’s Huts, we have finally got most of the problems resolved and will soon be ready to hire in Laurence, the local ‘digger man’, to get all the groundwork preparations done.
The cabins are described as ‘Shepherd Huts’ but they are being built to a very high standard. Each cabin will have a shower, underfloor heating, an induction hob, combi-microwave, and large windows that offer views across the fields. The cabin in the upper field will face the sunrise, while the one in the lower field will look out on the sunset.
We can’t wait to open the doors of the new cabins to you later this year and will let you know as soon as bookings open.
