Milarepa: the Enlightened Yogi

Led by Kamalashila

A study and practice retreat focusing on the amazingly simple way of life of Milarepa. Milarepa’s clarity of vision has been a primary inspiration for Kamalashila. So he’ll draw on his own experience of living in simplicity as a hermit and practising aspects of Milarepa’s approach. We’ll spend some time each day studying the text and discussing the practices; the rest of the day we’ll spend in silence, meditating and doing various rituals. If the weather is OK it may be possible to do some practice outside in the elements… but let's see! We will be using Christopher Stagg’s new translation of The Hundred Thousand Songs.

The retreat will start with dinner at 18:00 and you are welcome to arrive on site after 16:00, it will end at 10:30 on the last day.

For long events (4 nights or more) you can pay either the £78 non-refundable deposit or the full amount.
