A mandala is an expression of Reality, surrounded by beauty. In the centre is the truth, wisdom, love. The beauty around the centre manifests as a stunning, intricate pattern. The mandala is us, collectively and individually. We have different, often conflicting parts, but when they are brought into relationship with truth, wisdom and love, they are brought into harmony, and become beautiful.
During our first Young Buddhist Mandala event, we’ll be doing just that. We’ll gather in our hundreds from around the UK, Europe and maybe beyond. We’ll gather around truth, wisdom and love, and explore them in a variety of ways. We’ll hear talks from Buddhist teachers with decades of experience, we’ll meditate together, but there’ll also be the opportunity to explore nature connection, movement, and more.
The theme for the very first Mandala will be The Bodhisattva Ideal – how do we become a source of inspiration, compassion and guidance for the entire world, and is it even possible?!
We are expecting high demand for Indoor Accommodation, which is therefore set at a higher price than camping. Both options have the usual Standard, Concession and Financial Assistance options.
