This is the first in a series of three retreats on the theme of ethics for Order Members. The three retreats are Doing The Good, The Power Of Words and Mind Matters.
We will be using Bhante’s book Living Ethically as our basic text. This book is based on the seminar on Nagarjuna’s Precious Garland (Ratnamala). We will also refer to The Ten Pillars and to some Pali Suttas and Mahayana texts.
This first retreat will be an in-depth exploration of the theory and practice of the first three precepts.
