Public Ordinations at Adhisthana

Adhisthana was delighted to be able to host an Ordination retreat here in September, with full covid-safety adherence. This continues the lineage of those ordained at Adhisthana.

The Public Ordination ceremony took place outside, in the Prajnapramita Courtyard. Prajnapraramita is the ‘mother of all buddhas’ – the realisation perfection of wisdom personified.

In total 16 women we ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Order. You can watch the full livestream of the ordination from Adhisthana at the bottom of the page, or view the photos from the ceremony here.
