Women's Area Order Weekend | Longing for Liberation: Themes from the Ariyapariyesana Sutta

Led by Public Preceptors

Moving from the 'ignoble' to the 'noble' quest marks the moment when we fully decide to change the direction of our lives towards liberation...The noble quest also suggests an opening of desire, longing, a deep wish for something more than what we are now. How do we feel that alive in our lives now? What is it that awakens that longing for liberation?

This is what we'll explore together on our weekend. And there will be a ritual welcome for the new Order members too.

We're also going to have a Rupa and Thangka sale in aid of Tiratanaloka Unlimited. So please bring any rupas and thangkas which need a new shrine (and your cash too!)

Reception is from 4pm on the day of arrival, with the retreat beginning with supper at 6pm.

The retreat will finish in the afternoon after the clear-up. If traveling on public transport, please book a train after 3pm.
