As a literacy classic, the Dhammapada has been translated into English more times than any other ancient Buddhist text. This famous collection of the Buddha’s words gives clear and direct expression to many of his most central teachings. Teachings that deserve to be engraved on our hearts in letters of gold – or fire. Over this weekend, gather together with others to hear directly from the enlightened mind and discover how to get there for yourself.
With a keynote talk from Ratnadharini. Ratnadharini is chair of The College of Public Preceptors’ whose main function is the ordination of people within the Triratna Buddhist Order. She was ordained in 1989, worked for over a decade in businesses associated with London Buddhist Centre and spent many years living at Tiratanaloka, the retreat centre for women training for ordination.
If you’re aged 18-30, then this retreat is for you – it doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to meditation and Buddhism, or have lots of experience of, just come along!
