A renewed Buddhism needs to confront the modern world as it is. It needs to be a radical alternative to an individualistic consumer society. It needs teachings that help to overcome hatred and prejudice. It needs people living and working together to reduce suffering, tackle loneliness and give meaning to people’s lives.
The world needs a radical blueprint for change. Essentially this means deepening our own practice, connecting with others and building Sangha. On this weekend we will focus on how to teach meditation, establish communities and run ethical businesses – no previous experience required.
This long-weekend offers a training situation for Sub35 Mitras who are inspired by the dual work of transforming self and world. As part of the weekend Ksantikara und Danayutta will lead two teacher training workshops, Dharmasara & Ariane will offer a interactive session drawing on their their exprience of establishing new residental communities, Anna will share her knowledge of marketing from her work on the London Buddhist Centre team and Suryanaga will repeat the successful Build A Buddhist Business workshop which he co-devised in 2020.
To book on this retreat you need to be a Mitra within the Triratna community and aged 18-34.
